Berwick Bandits Grand Season Opener - Bordernapolis 2019!

The 2019 Speedway season is just around the corner and it’s all systems go for the Berwick Bandits!

The club opens its doors on its fifty-second season with a bang this Saturday night with riders from all over the country set to do battle for the 2019 Bordernapolis title.

The annual individual event will be run under the standard Speedway Grand Prix rules which give the top eight qualifying riders, from the 20 qualifying heats, a chance to progress through to the semi-finals and with the successful top two from each going on to a “Winner takes all” grand final.

It is with great delight that we can now announce the 2019 Berwick Bandits title and “powered by” sponsors.

Mike Hope of Wooler Ltd make the step up from the “powered by” to title sponsor for the 2019 season.

The successful one stop shop for vehicles and machinery based in Wooler is owned and ran by the Hope family who themselves successfully ran the club for a number of years and brought Speedway back to Shielfield Park in 1996.

All 2019 season passes will be available for collection from the new box office at the stadium entrance on Press & Practice evening.

An email was sent to everyone who purchased a season pass with this information but we appreciate emails may have gone into spam folders so we want to make sure you are all aware of the procedure.

Anybody who has any special requests regarding the collection of your season passes please contact the club at sales@berwickbandits.co
