Local Derby Cup Fever hits town

Championship Knockout Cup fever arrives in the North East this weekend as Berwick Bandits lock horns with the Newcastle Diamonds in the event's quarter final home and away this weekend.

Saturday at 7pm the focus is on North Northumberland as Berwick play hosts but will be without their inspirational captain, Kevin Doolan who fell heavily at Eastbourne last weekend and is sitting out a compulsory time on the side lines which covers both Cup legs and on Saturday in the home side will use rider replacement to cover his absence.
