RICKY’S PROGRESS! Bbc1 Friday morning

Bandits' Legend Ricky Ashworth continues to defy the odds in his recovery from life threatening injuries sustained in a track crash in 2013.

Ricky’s journey has been well documented and the miracle man himself will be back on track on television this week!

A feature on Ricky’s inspirational story, showing his progression to cycling around the velodrome at Manchester's National Cycling Centre, will air nationally on BBC1's "BBC Breakfast" programme next Friday morning (15th Feb) at 6.40am, 7.40am and 8.40am.

Bandit legend Graham Jones guest of honour at WSRA event

The 2019 World Speedway Riders' Association in Scotland Social Event which takes place on February 23rd, 2019 at Deer Park Golf and Country Club, Golf Course Road, Livingston, has some very special guests attending.

At the WSRA Members in Scotland’s 18th Scottish Social Event venue (off the M8 at Junction 3) which has a hotel very close by, the Guests of Honour this year will be Kenny McKinna and Berwick Bandits' legend, ten-year testimonial man, Graham Jones, famous for doing a 700-mile round trip for home meetings alone!

The new season gets ever closer

With the winter rolling on, here at Berwick Speedway we can confirm that the 2019 season at Shielfield Park will kick off with the traditional Press & Practice evening on Friday the 29th of March at 6pm --- but the real fun begins 24 hours later!

Competitive action gets underway with the 2019 Bordernapolis event on Saturday March 30th, 2019 at 7pm!

Jamie names his Magnificent Seven

Berwick’s speedway Bandits hosted a packed Fans' Forum in the Black & Gold hostelry at Shielfield Park on Sunday evening, with club boss Jamie Courtney explaining a few ‘facts of speedway life’ to the fans while unveiling his full line-up for the 2019 season, which starts around Easter.
